Enhancing Female Graduates Marketable Skills

Research reveals that graduates have limited practical skills to compete in the marketplace and as a result make up a significant number of the unemployed. Based on these findings, Nagaad combined skill based courses in certain quick marketable programs (food catering, mobile phone repairing, financial management, and project planning and managements). These courses have been provided in addition to their academic university qualifications. The mobile phone repairing course has been especially offered to the girls in an attempt to enable women to penetrate in all possible market sectors. The positive results are that some of the trained girls found employment at Hargeisa airport and work as security screening equipment operators.
