This year, three remarkable young women, Ibtihal, Naciima, and Nimco, were recognized for their inspiring journeys.

•IBTIHAL’S unwavering spirit led her from the Hargeisa Deaf School to a degree in Software Engineering and a Master’s in Business Management. Her initiative in teaching sign language to her peers and her current role at the Hargeisa Water Agency highlights her commitment to inclusivity and professional excellence.
* NACIMA’S journey, from the Hargeisa Deaf School to a Master’s degree in Project Management, showcases her dedication to education and personal growth. Her diverse skills and passion for inspiring other deaf women make her a true role model.
* NIMCO’s story, beginning in rural Borama and culminating in a degree in ICT from Beder University, is a testament to her resilience in the face of educational and communication barriers.
