Nagaad Network in Collaboration with University Students Held a Session against FGM

Nagaad Network along with university students from New Generation College and Tima Ade University held an event in commemoration of February 6th which is the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation. Cabdiqaadir Ibrahim Aadan from Nagaad and various students spoke at the event to discuss the lasting medical, physical, and psychological effects of FGM on women and girls. Towards the end of the event, Hani Saleeban Cabdi (poet Laara) read a moving poem on FGM and violence against women.
